Our 1.6-oz steel tin is crafted from heavy-duty tin-plated steel, not thin, disposable aluminum that often relies on interior linings. Steel tins are stronger, more stable, and designed to protect what is inside. Most cast iron care is housed in aluminum tins, our tins are free from BPA and epoxy liners, keeping your heritage care products pure and chemical-free. This is cast iron care, it should feel substantial.

Inside, you will find a traditional formula made for real cast iron maintenance. No industrial seed oils. No fillers. No unnecessary additives.

We use organic avocado oil that is glyphosate-residue free and sourced from regenerative farming practices. Our beeswax comes from clean hive cappings sourced from American family farms in the USA. Hive cappings are the pure wax seals cut directly from honeycomb — the cleanest and most desirable portion of the hive. (Certified organic beeswax is most commonly imported due to the complexity of U.S. certification standards. We chose to source domestically instead, prioritizing traceability, clean hive practices, and supporting American beekeepers.)

Cowboy Bob’s Cast Iron Care is a traditional conditioner and seasoner made to be applied in very thin layers, buffed dry, and used consistently. With regular care, it helps protect against rust and supports a smooth, well-seasoned cooking surface without buildup or stickiness.
